Acquisition
There is no legal requirement for a cash register, but working with a digital cash register is significantly easier and will help you with many processes in your daily work. In contrast to a cash register, when working with an open cash box (cash drawer), all cash management is done by hand and is therefore much more cumbersome.

First, the abbreviation DFKA should be explained. DFKA stands for the "German Association for Cash Register and Billing System Technology in Cash and Cashless Payment Transactions" and operates as a registered association.
The DFKA e. V. is the only nationwide professional association for companies involved in cash management. It represents the interests of its members and the industry towards politics, administration, associations, and institutions, as well as the public. As an interest group, it engages in dialogue nationwide with those responsible in parliaments and governments, thus providing impetus for political decisions. The DFKA is also registered in the list of associations of the German Bundestag.
In addition, the DFKA holds two information events each year, to which members and other interested parties from the industry are cordially invited. The goal of these events and all DFKA activities is to enable certified cooperation with the tax authorities in coordination with the legislator.

Connections
It is of course possible to connect various hotel programs to your Vectron cash register system. Yes, EC devices from different providers can be connected to your Vectron cash register. Thanks to the use of a script, you can even send the bookings directly to the EC device and back to the cash register, without having to manually enter the amount into the card payment device for each transaction. Technical Safety Device
TSE = Technical Security Device: With the designation "TSE Kassensystem" (TSE cash register system), one refers to a cash register system that complies with the requirements of the Cash Register Security Ordinance. This means that a technical security device has been installed at the cash register and all transactions from the cash register are additionally encrypted and stored by the TSE.
Every German company using an electronic cash register must use a certified TSE (Technical Security Device). This includes all cash registers with their own software and operating system, as well as all PC and app-based cash register systems used on smartphones or tablets. Therefore, a TSE is indispensable in the German market.
The support agreement for the TSE includes:
- Troubleshooting TSE via remote maintenance (Mon–Fri 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Mon–Thu 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM, Fri 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
- Emergency treatment for TSE by phone is available Monday – Sunday from 5 AM to 11 PM.
- A technical security device with a 5-year certificate, which immediately becomes the property of the customer. The customer then procures new TSE hardware according to the contract.
- DynDNS usage included (connects the POS system with the commander in the office)
Services and Contracts:
The support flat rate includes:
- Remote maintenance (TeamViewer) and phone calls for everyday questions (Mon-Fri 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Mon-Thu 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, Fri 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM)
- BonVito support and reprogramming (e.g., new menu, Vectron Commander relocation) are excluded.
- 24/7 emergency treatment by phone
- No surcharges for weekend/holiday shifts or outside business hours
- Loaner devices will be provided free of charge for repairs to your cash register system.
- DynDNS usage included (connects the POS system with the commander in the office)
The repair of the cash register system listed in the contract will be carried out on a case-by-case basis upon telephone or written request by the
Clients. Malfunctions of the cash register system, accessories, or peripherals will be rectified upon request.
The following works are included:
- All work performed and travel expenses
- Spare parts
- Emergency rental machine provision
- On-site service, remote maintenance, telephone support
The following services are not included and will be charged separately:
- Repairs, spare parts, spare part deliveries, or increased service efforts are excluded in cases of improper handling of the cash register system or due to other circumstances not attributable to the contractor, such as force majeure, theft, lightning strike, fire, water, as well as negligent or intentional behavior by the client or third parties; furthermore, the use of customer service without the need for a repair measure is excluded.

The support agreement for the TSE includes:

Yes, however, the cancellation must be in writing, either by mail or by email.
Please note that the technical security device must be decommissioned with all collected data upon termination of the contract, as you are obligated to provide the tax office with proof of sales for the last 10 years.
The following conditions from the contract must be considered upon termination:
- The basic term is 24 months and it automatically extends by another 24 months if the contract is not terminated in due time, at the latest
terminated in writing three months before the end of the basic term. - In the event of termination of the care contract in accordance with the conditions stated above, and if it is not due to business closure or insolvency, a one-time processing fee of €195 will be charged after 24 months and €95 after 48 months.
- In case of business closure or insolvency, the contract will be terminated regardless of the above conditions. A one-time processing fee of €95 will apply from the second year. In the first year, the processing fee is €195. Business closure must be proven by deregistering the business in this case.
